Dear Students and Parents,

This week we will begin working on typing and formatting our science fair report title pages in class.  We will use Microsoft Word and be practicing such skills as centering, formatting text size and font, and making text bold.  We will also review navigating a network to open and save documents.

All third graders will receive their flutophones when they bring a sock to their music class. The sock must be either a tube sock (like a soccer sock) or about 10-12 inches long, in order for the flutophone to fit inside. Here is your opportunity to do something useful with a mismatched sock. Children who enjoy crafts may make a flutophone case if they prefer. A letter about the flutophone has been sent to parents. Please read carefully so that we can enjoy flutophone success this year! Mrs. Cohen

We will begin working in our new spelling book.  Homework is to complete pages 10 and 11.

We are finishing our class rules.  You should draw a picture showing how you can, "be respectful."

You will earn a homework ticket punch if your homework is completed.  Let's see who can get the homework treasure first.

Thanks to all of you for your wonderful classroom behavior today.  Everyone earned a coin for their coin purses.  It seems like they will all be going to the treasure box soon.
