MOST THIRD GRADERS HAVE BROUGHT IN THEIR FLUTOPHONE SOCKS AND HAVE GOTTEN THEIR FLUTOPHONES. VERY GOOD JOB THIRD GRADE!

I WILL BE HANDING OUT MUSIC WHEN YOU COME TO CLASS. YOU WILL NEED A MUSIC FOLDER TO KEEP THESE PAPERS IN. A POCKET FOLDER OR SLIM BINDER WILL SUFFICE. THESE WILL HELP YOU ORGANIZE YOUR MUSIC. PLEASE PUT YOUR NAME AND CLASS-CLEARLY-ON YOUR FOLDER. THANK YOU!

Third grade is studying their spelling words in Unit 1 for their first spelling test on Friday, September 3, 2010.

Students have a worksheet to read and two questions to answer.  The worksheet and questions are in their binder in the language section.  Please encourage your child to  read aloud to you, a friend, a sibling, or a grandparent before they do their comprehension questions.

Due Tues. Sep. 7th:  Please bring in to class something that tells us about one of you hobbies. It can be an item (like a music note book) or a picture- from a magazine, or your own (like a picture of roller blades).

The class would like to know what you like to do well, do BEHATZLACHA (with success ) this coming year. 
                                                              

Hebrew:  read    pages 50 - 51  go over page 48  for reading test. 

                    study  all the new words on the cards.

In 3rd Grade Drama, we've been working on how to make sure we are heard and seen on stage.  We've been learning about how our lungs help us use our voices in a healthy way, and how to breathe in and exhale when we speak on stage, so we are nice and loud, without hurting our voices. We've also been learning how to cheat out on stage, so we can always be seen, and we have been learning STAGE DIRECTIONS.  In addition, we've been enjoying some fun improvisational games, like What Are You Doing, and Go Like This, and creating two person scenes together.

The next spelling words will be on   9/15. Tow weeks from today.
Write 3 times each of the spelling words.
