Homework can now be found in NetClassroom

Parents,

Starting on Monday, Oct 3rd, all homework information will be moved from the current blogs to NetClassroom.

Using the User ID and password that were emailed to you on Monday, 9/19, please take a moment now to log into NetClassroom and familiarize yourself with the layout before the switch-over.

Remember, these are the things you will see based on your child's grade level:

record speaking projects in various languages
describe how something works as a form of testing a student's knowledge of a subject

One of the most frequent questions I receive as a Network Administrator is related to passwords. The questions range from "why do I have to change my password?" to "can I use my phone number or child's name as my password?". At the 2009 PB County Technology Conference a friend of mine, Kim Cavanaugh, led a session titled “Digital Literacy in the 21st Century”.

Here is a link to Kim's blog post about this session. In this session he discussed the required skills our students should have as we continue forward into the 21st Century and brainstormed with the group. Together they assembled a concept map that is pretty thought provoking. Check it out!
