Shalom and Welcome!
For 36 years, the Arthur I. Meyer Jewish Academy has provided a warm, positive environment where students are given the individual attention that helps them develop into stronger, more confident young adults. Meyer Academy develops the whole child, helping students grow intellectually, emotionally, physically, and spiritually through an integrated educational framework.
Located in central West Palm Beach, the Meyer Academy is recognized as an outstanding leader in providing the finest general education in addition to an extensive Jewish education that will empower students to become creative and productive members of American society and of the Jewish community. The school is accredited by the Florida Council of Independent Schools and a member of Partners for Excellence in Jewish Education.
The general studies curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, computer science, library skills, art, music, drama, and physical education.
In addition to the strong general curriculum, there is an equally challenging Jewish studies program designed to cultivate an understanding and appreciation for the cultural and religious heritage of the Jewish people. Students study bible, prayer, holidays and rituals, values and Jewish social studies. What makes the Meyer Academy unique in this community is the Jewish tradition that is carried out in all areas of school life. |
